History of Our Cause

In 1981, the Reagan administration attempted to create a community that was supportive of mental health. However, this plan backfired and cast aside the mentally ill to the street. Others affected and included in the homeless population include those afflicted with chronic substance abuse, and veterans of the Vietnam War. Additionally, current conditions such as high rent & COVID-19 exacerbate the issues.

Our mission is to ease and end the crisis of homelessness in our communities.

Values

Our three core values are diversity, inclusion, and equity.

Action

Our objective is to provide emergency food and shelter, traditional housing, and rapid re-housing.

All profits will be donated to the Berkeley Food & Housing Project, where funds will be allocated to community meals, temporary shelters, permanent supportive housing, and more.

Our goal is to raise $1500 dollars!

Additionally, we hope to spark a greater movement and garner support for the underprivileged in the homeless community.
